Khalil Fodiyo Islamic Academy (KAFIA) was established by Jama’atul Muslimeen in the year 2000 and took effect by October 2001. It is a boys Secondary school which started its operation at its sister’s site (Asma’u Girls Islamic College(AGIC)) temporarily in the afternoon hours of Mondays to Fridays and morning hours of Saturdays and Sundays.
In September 2013, the school was relocated to its permanent site at Arkilla layout off IPP road. As at the time of relocation, most of the classes were neither plastered nor floored. But Alhamdullahi today, all the classrooms are now beautifully furnished with upstairs. The school has eleven (11) largely expanded classrooms, a multipurpose laboratory for the conduct of Physics, chemistry, Biology, Electrical installation and maintenance work as well as computer science practical. The school also has a library, Temporary administrative offices for Principal, vice principals and finance officer. It also has a borehole for water supply and a standby generator as alternative source of power.
MISSION: The Mission of establishing the school is to educate Muslim Youths according to the highest educational standard and in line with the National Policy on Education but, guided by the moral teachings of Islam based on the right belief of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah and also to fulfill the will of Allah (SWT) and the yearnings of Muslim parents in raising a balanced personality in their wards, morally and intellectually, so that with Allah’s help, the students could attain their goals of life in this world and the Hereafter.

Asma’u Girls Islamic College was established by Jama’atul Muslimeen in 1991 in order to enhance the education of our Muslim sisters. The Jama’ah felt that the best way to approach female education in an Islamic Society is to establish an Institution which will marry both Islamic and Western education and also instill discipline in the students.
The college started with fifteen students in a class borrowed for Madarasatul Tahsinil Qira’atil Qur’anil Karim along Ka’oje road, Runjin Sambo area Sokoto. The leaders of the Jama’ah were the first set of teachers; each one taking a subject, with the help of some brothers and sisters. The college continued to grow until the year 1998 when it moved to its present permanent site.
Over the years, the College has recorded tremendous success. Many of the graduates have qualified to be Medical practitioners, such as; Medical doctors, Nursing officers, Medical and other Science and Social Science based. Some are currently studying in Universities and other Institutions of higher learning both in Nigeria and abroad.

The school was established in 2005 by Jama’atul Muslimeen Foundation. It commenced academic activities with 70 pupils (40 males and 30 females) and ten staff headed by Late Malam Murtal Abdullahi Hubbare.
The school was closed for a year due to some developmental issues which was later re-opened in 2008 and the name was changed to Asma’u-Khalil Nursery and Primary School.
The school continued to operate till the year 2012 when the name was again changed to Jama’ah Nursery and Primary School. And started graduating pupils in the year 2014 till date. Alhamdulillah, so far, the school now has over 321 pupils.
